Annual Fund Campaign Communications Co-ordinator Brock University
Project management and planning of an Undergraduate Awareness Campaign launching in the 2014-15 school year to create awareness of the Annual Fund, promote a culture of giving, encourage students, let students know Brock is beside them on their academic journey and show the support of Brock’s donors and alumni. I have designed a tri-fold communication strategy and campaign that can be implemented annually on a cost effective budget, targeting undergraduates at three critical times during the school year. I am also in charge of the development of all marketing and campaign materials such as body copy, design and graphic samples for both print and digital materials. I have been able to work within a strict budget to produce all campaign materials necessary to execute the campaign and developed a marketing timeline outlining tasks, launch dates and duration, costs for marketing materials, production and set up costs as well as an overview of total cost required for campaign production based on year. Apart from this, I have been in charge of development and planning of a Social Media campaign that will parallel the print campaign (including status and post body copy, creation of campaign graphics, post schedule and calendar) as well as the creation of a secondary Social Media campaign to juxtaposition the needs of students on campus to the investments made by donors and alumni - executed on four main social media handles surrounding Brock University and major campaign launch periods with already established followers. I have also completed CMS Level 1 training (Drupal -Brock University's content management system), through Brock University's Marketing Communications department
